Privacy policy
Last updated on 2 September 2026. Shipit Digital, at Torresstraat 50, 1056 RV Amsterdam and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 85945579, is responsible for the processing described in this policy.
Data we process
When you submit a contact form or audit request, we process the details you enter, such as your name, email address, organization, website, area of interest and message. A phone number is optional. If you provide one, we store it in international format with the phone country or region you selected. That choice helps us process the number correctly and does not indicate your residence or nationality. The record also contains the form type, source page, time received, internal handling status, and the version, language and path of the privacy information in effect when you submitted.
For every submission, we also store the IP address and limited technical request data: browser family and major version, operating-system family and device category. We derive this information on the server from the request, do not store the complete browser identifier and do not run an additional fingerprinting script. These values are coarse estimates derived from the User-Agent, may be inaccurate or spoofed, and are not treated as identity or security evidence. We do not infer your country from the IP address.
Why we use this data
We use contact and audit content to respond and take steps towards a possible engagement at your request. Where applicable, this is based on taking steps before entering into a contract. We use the IP address and limited technical request data for security, rate limiting, abuse investigation and form troubleshooting, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website and our communications. We do not use this technical data for profiling, marketing or location detection.
The required form checkbox confirms that you have read this privacy information. It is not consent to marketing. Consent for website analytics and marketing cookies is requested separately through the privacy choices.
Website analytics
Only when you allow Analytics does the website load Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-JJT45ZX5QR. We then process information such as visited pages, session data, device and browser information and an approximate location to understand how the website is used. Only when you allow Marketing does the website load Google Ads tag AW-17945935000 for advertising measurement. The former Google Tag Manager container is not loaded. You can withdraw your choice at any time with the privacy control at the lower left.
Retention and recipients
We keep form data and related technical request data only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, secure the website, meet legal obligations and address possible disputes. We review the data against those purposes and remove it when it is no longer needed. Access is limited to authorized people and necessary providers for hosting, website management or email delivery. If email delivery is configured, the submission and related technical request data may be sent through the selected email provider.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it. Send requests to info@shipitdigital.nl. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security and changes
